Serpent Cannoneer

The cannoneer stood no shorter than six feet tall. He held a serpent - no - it was not a serpent, but an artillery. A cannon, with its muzzle crafted with a dragon's head - mouth emitting fumes included-, with the knob end replaced by what closely resembles a dragon's tale. Fumes came out from the thorn-like holes.
It was no dragon. And yet it stroke the enemy the same fear that a real one would. What stroke more fear into their heart was the strength of this line of infantry. The cannon would have taken at least two men to pull, and yet each of them held one as if a little child sat on their shoulder. The bags of steel cannonball ammunition that they held on their other hand was not much help for the enemy's morale.
